Senior Business Development Manager

We’re looking for four experienced Business Development Managers to join the BCN Sales team. You’ll want to join an organisation that has fantastic cloud and managed service offerings, and the highest levels of customer service.

You’ll fast become a key member of the BCN team by helping to win new customers and grow our annuity base in FY20.


Role details

Salary: Competitive with uncapped commission

Location: Burnley

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Mon- Fri, 37.5 hours per week

Earning potential: £100,000 in year 1

Core Focus

Help BCN grow its customer base in the UK SMB, SME & Mid Enterprise markets through a focused sales strategy involving hybrid infrastructure, Office 365, Azure, Sage, cyber security, telephony and managed services.

You will join a team that is highly skilled and motivated to help BCN grow to a £25m business. 

You will have access to superb sales & marketing collateral, case studies, vendor MDF to help drive events, and be supported by a sales-centric leadership team that will help you maximise your opportunity base and earning potential.

Our strategy is to assist you wherever we can in generating new business opportunities and help you maximise a loyal customer base that spends regularly.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Selling to end user customers – 5+ years field sales experience selling to IT Managers, Directors and technology leaders.

• SME/ Commercial/ mid-Enterprise sector focus

• Robust market knowledge in relation to Office 365, storage, cloud technologies and managed IT service

• Track record of driving & securing new business Save

• Excellent account development skills 

Desirable Attributes

• University-educated 

• Creative approach to sales

• Current vendor sales specialisations – e.g. Microsoft, VM ware, Sophos

• Self-motivated

• Good sense of humour

• Team mentality
