BlueCoffee Networks in-the-cloud email and web security partner, iCritical, have been named Computing Security’s Security Service Provider of the Year for the second year running.
At a glitzy award ceremony held in Hotel Russell, London, iCritical beat the competition (including IT giant IBM) to win the prestigious award. The awards were presented by comedian Patrick Monahan, and former cricket captain and presenter, Chris Cowdrey and iCritical’s was accepted by 4 members of the technical team – Darren Middleton, Damien Robinson, Will Stezenko and Rob Rettinger.
Commenting on the win, Chris Gee, iCritical’s Managing Director said:
“We were thrilled to win this award in 2012 and when we found out we were a finalist in the same category this year we wanted to do everything we could to win it for the second time. As one of the few awards that are voted for by IT users winning one really means a lot to us. We were up against some tough competition this year and we’re delighted that our customers and resellers believe in our service delivery enough to vote for us for the second year running. We want to thank everyone who gave us their vote!”
In addition to becoming the 2013 Security Service Provider of the Year, iCritical also came runner up in the Cloud Security Solution of the Year and Messaging Security Solution of the Year categories for its flagship email security solution, mailCritical.
Next month iCritical will compete against others in the industry to win a CRN Channel Award.
