At the ceremony last Thursday evening (10th October) at the Rum Warehouse in the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool, Polymorph picked up the top accolade, also scooping the Digital and Technology Business of the Year Award.
Now in its seventh year, the annual awards ceremony organised by Morecrofts Solicitors celebrates the success of independent businesses across Merseyside. In her opening address, managing partner at Morecrofts, Alison Lobb, said that the judges faced a tough task of whittling down the record number of entries into the 51-strong shortlist and were full of praise for the “quality, diversity and character” of all those that had entered.
In total, there were 13 categories as well as the top award. Polymorph received their Independent Business of the Year award from Bill Addy, chief executive of the event’s headline sponsor, Liverpool BID Company. He told the audience that in almost 20 years since it was founded, Polymorph had “successfully adapted to a fast-changing world”.
Steve Harris, CEO of Polymorph, said: “We are overwhelmed and over the moon at being named Merseyside Independent Business of the Year”. Steve continues: “Polymorph has been involved in digital transformation since the year 2000 when the world was a very different place – at that time digital transformation tended to focus on going paperless. Today, whether we are helping businesses transition to the cloud, or streamlining business processes and operations, or delivering new business models and revenue stream through bespoke software solutions we are committed to using technology for the greater good.”
