As of October 2022, Microsoft’s long standing Silver and Gold competencies have been replaced. In their place, 6 new Solution Partner designations have been unveiled as part of Microsoft’s new Cloud Partner Program.
Before the change, BCN were Gold partners, reflecting the depth and breadth of our capabilities and commitment to our customers long-term success. Since then, BCN have continued to develop our capabilities in line with the new partner program and as a result have been awarded updated badges.
The new designations focus on six solution capabilities. These areas are in Infrastructure; Data and Artificial Intelligence; Digital and Application Innovation; Modern Work; Security, and Business Applications. But that is not all that has changed. Microsoft have streamlined its Partner Program, providing three levels of qualification: Solutions Partner, Specialist Partner, and Expert MSP.
BCN Group are proud to announce that we have already achieved all 6 of the 6 designations, reflecting our expertise in managing complex global cloud environments. An achievement that few MSPs in the UK can shout about.
What do the designations mean?
The designations are aligned to the solution areas that recognise broad technical capability and demonstrate partner delivery success in high-demand cloud solution areas. Success is measured in three areas: Performance, Skilling, and Customer Success.
In addition to the designations, Microsoft have also rolled out Specialisations that further validate deep technical expertise. Specialisations are attained following successful Solutions Partner designations, further distinguishing partners from the competition.
What Solution Partner Designation does BCN have?
BCN are proud to announce that we have designations in the following six areas.
The infrastructure designation demonstrates BCN broad capability to help our customers accelerate migration of key infrastructure workloads to Microsoft Azure. The designation identifies us as a partner who has the commitment to training and has delivered solutions that lead to customer success.
As a Solutions Partner for Data and AI, the designation demonstrates< our broad capability to help customers manage their data across multiple systems to build analytics and AI solutions.
This designation demonstrates BCN’s capability to help customers build, run, and applications multiple clouds, on-premises, and at the edge, with the tools and frameworks of our customer’s choice.
As a solution partner for Modern Work, we have demonstrated our capability to help our customers boost their productivity and make the shift to hybrid-work by harnessing the power of Microsoft 365.
