The BCN Foundation applications are the culmination of over 20 years of consulting and application development within Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft 365 Business Central. It brings together all the small tweaks, changes, and product enhancements that we feel are beneficial to all users.
Sometimes it’s not enough to log just the salesperson or purchaser against your customer and vendor accounts. BCN Foundation provides an account manager facility so you can assign the person with overall responsibility for your accounts.
Our user activities feature adds to the standard Business Central permissions to further control what users can do. Perhaps a user has permission to change a customer record, but this also lets them change the credit limit field – not a problem BCN Foundation can prevent this from happening. It’s easily extendible too, so your provider can add any additional checks you might want, quickly and simply.
Don’t like the terminology of some of the fields within Business Central? Our caption translation feature allows the most common fields to have their display caption to read anything you like. Fully configurable by the end user and can be easily extended to cover other fields too.
Our barcode creation feature allows Business Central to automatically generate EAN13 barcode numbers based on your company GS1 prefix.
Our enhanced drag & drop feature enables the dropping of files and e-mails directly onto the document attachments factbox that is shown on list and card pages. We’ve added the document attachments to some extra places in Business Central too!
So, you’ve dragged and dropped your PDF files into Business Central for safe keeping, but when you want to view that document a local copy will be downloaded to your computer. This can create multiple copies of the same file lying around your business. Our PDF viewer is embedded directly into the Business Central client, so your PDFs don’t need to be downloaded to see them.
Create alerts that can be shown to the user during the entry of sales or purchase documents. Perhaps you have an upcoming show that you want your users to remind customers of when they are entering sales documents – no problem! Alerts can be non-intrusive notifications at the top of the screen, or larger HTML based page alerts.
Use our embedded HTML editor to create extended item descriptions that can then be exported to websites or sales portals.
