Acting on a referral from two NHS organisations, Liverpool CCG approached BCN to replace a Power BI Covid-19 dashboard within a 14-day deadline, and move their existing performance data into an optimised, easy-to-use analytics reporting system
Acting on a referral from two NHS Wirral organisations, Liverpool CCG approached BCN and asked us to:
Using Azure we delivered a Covid-19 Dashboard in just 2 days during one of the busiest periods in NHS history.
We worked to a very tight deadline of just two weeks to migrate and replace an existing Covid-19 Dashboard that had been created in Microsoft Power BI by a multinational professional services company.
We created a ‘read only’ dashboard that is simple to access and accommodates the different knowledge levels of Microsoft Power BI users.
We designed new, sophisticated architecture by incorporating a range of Azure services, including Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database. We also created data tables before re-connecting Power BI reporting to the data source.
Our working knowledge of Microsoft Azure allowed us to deliver this fully tested and operational replacement dashboard in just two days. The second objective was to move existing performance data into amore intuitive analytics-based reporting system.
We carried out a Power BI Readiness Assessment before introducing Cloud2’s unique Microsoft Power BI Kickstarter programme to ensure best practice was followed.
We created a Power BI Data Cube which managed the client’s existing data set and used our unique IP templates to create reports that offer faster and better insights while also providing end users with a consistent user-friendly interface.
Our tailored analytics-driven solution has increased reporting process speeds by 75% and the new dashboard is fully accessible by multiple stakeholders throughout Cheshire and Merseyside.
