Having designed, developed, deployed and supported critical business applications for Tactical Solutions, BCN were perfectly positioned to help and navigate them to the cloud.

BCN’s knowledge and experience of both Azure and their applications allowed BCN to design a solution that would provide both the scalability and resilience they were looking for.


BCN advised Tactical Solutions that Azure & Office 365 were the best options for them in the medium-longer term. The move to Azure would provide a secure, scalable and resilient platform allowing them to grow as and when needed. Not only would this save them time and resource not having to look after the environment it places them in the perfect position to introduce new technologies and systems into their business.

Transform & Adopt

Once the solution was agreed and road-mapped, BCN Group set about delivering the solution as follows:

  • An Office 365 tenancy was commissioned on behalf of Tactical Solutions.
  • Email was migrated from Lotus Notes to BPOS and finally O365.
  • A secure production environment was configured in Azure and extended to other Azure regions to provide resiliency.
  • Critical business applications where migrated to the new Azure platform, also making use of Azure Blob storage for over 1 million photographs.
  • Decommissioned and removed all on premise email and production servers.

Manage & Evolve

Since this initial project BCN Group continue to provide consultancy and support, assisting them with additional Office 365, Azure, Power Bi and bespoke business requirements on a weekly basis.

The advice and support given by BCN Group has provided a robust and flexible environment for this dynamic retail management business.
