Bonded Inventory
A bonded warehouse is a secured building or area where dutiable commodities may be handled, manufactured, or stored whilst deferring the payment of VAT and duty to the local customs authority. VAT and duty are payable once the goods are sold or removed from the bonded warehouse. Sellers who import and sell products can benefit from storing goods in a bonded warehouse.
